Prospects

  • Kailen Hamson- LHP (Baltimore Orioles)

Authored one of the best pitching seasons in Cumberlands (KY) history and earned second team All-American and MSC Pitcher of the Year Honors. He also became the highest draft pick in UC history going in the 8th round at pick 244 to the Baltimore Orioles!

  • Cooper Adams RHP- (Boston Red Sox)

Signed this past offseason with the Boston Red Sox and currently is playing for the Greenville Drive. Composed competitor on the mound with a four pitch mix (SNK, SL, CH, CT). Runs the fastball in the mid 90’s and graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s.

  • Mason Kinchen- LHP (Texas Tech)

The lefty from Grand Oaks fills up the strike zone from a tough angle with a 3 pitch mix. He has a fast paced delivery with a low 3/4 slot that makes hitters real uncomfortable. Can back foot the slider to RHH and locate the changeup to the arm side. Really excited to see him play at the next level at Texas Tech!

  • Talin Gardini- LHP/1B (Saint Mary's)

Gardini heads into his Sophomore campaign for the Gaels, looking to be on of the mainstays of their pitching staff in 2026. He looks to build on his solid freshman season.

  • Cody Cappelletti- RHP/SS (Saint Mary's)

One of the top ‘25 arms in San Diego. Has 4 solid pitches- all for strikes- including a wipeout Slider that sits 76-78 MPH. Fastball sitting 86-87 topping at 89. Also uses a plus changeup with great downward tilt to both LHH and RHH. Very athletic and strong kid that also plays shortstop with great range and ability to drive the ball over the fence at the plate.

  • Zane Brown- RHP (Belmont University)

Part of Belmont weekend rotation in his first year as part of the staff. Looking to build on his success and first career no-hitter in 2025 and be a mainstay in 2026.

  • Preston Chaudoin- RHP (Murray State)

A part of Murray State’s 2025 College World Series Run. Great teammate and competitor. Looking to make a big impact on the Racers pen in 2026.

  • Jack Giordano- RHP (Oregon State)

Electric fastball that has been up to 98 and generally sits in the 93-95 range. Power stuff with closer potential. Converted catcher.
